10 ARTICLE VIII MOVING PICTURE FILMS SECTION 1, Unedited films are to be used freely by individual schools but only for the purpose of coaching and ERR football squads. nei SECTION 2. These films should not be exhibited “ the general public unless they have been edited in such a way as not to reflect on the officiating. SECTION 3. Exhibitions of motion pictures of games should be arranged at the pre-season officials' training school. ARTICLE IX CODE OF BTHICS SECTION 1. Fully realizing that courageous and fearless officiating is unattainable under open criticism, the only possible effect of which is to destroy public confidence, the following principles as a Code of Ethics that could be adopted, SECTION 2. It shall be considered unethical for a coach, or other representative of an Institution, to discuss his opponents' play or players in any game with officials who will serve or are serving that game. SECTION 3. It shall be considered unethical for a coach, or other representative of an Institution, to evidence any criticism of officials, either between the ha ives, during or immediately after a GAME « SECTION 4. It shall be considered unethical for a coach, or other representative of an Institution, to use, or to condone in any way, the use of the Press for any criticism of officiating, SECTION 5.4 It shall be considered unethical for either a coach, or an official, to draw the other into conversation concerning the garic. This shall apply before, during, ana ofter the game. SECTION 6. It shall be considered unethical for an official to fur- nish the Press, either directly or indirectly, any interviews or stories on ganes in which he worked, or on any gene whether or not he worked in it. SECTION 7. It shall be considered unethical for an official to con- ment on the work of 2 fellow official, except in his reports to the office of the Commissioner. SECTION @ It shall be considered unethical for an official to discuss dccisions made in a game with anyone, except with his fellow officials or the Commissioner. NOTE: (a) Coaches, or other representatives of an Institution, are urged to file any complaint or criticism of officials or officiating with the Commissioner, the eppointed agency for constructive or renediai action in such natters.
