GEORGETOWN COLLEGE POUNDED 1825 GEORGETOWN, KENTUCKY DEPT. OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION R. K. EVANS October II, 1938 Mr. Forrest C. Allen Athletic Director Kansas University Lawrence, Kansas Dear Mr. Allen: We have a boy here at Georgetown, who is an excellent basketball player, that has had quite a bit of trouble with a bad knee. We have had some saccess with taping, but I am wondering if you could not recommend a brace of some kind that would do the trick better. This knee doesnt' bother the actions of the boy at all and the trouble only comes after a bad twist. The trouble has been diagnosed as a floating cartilage. This is the boys' senior year and he is extremehy anxious to finish out his career. I would certainly appreciate it if you could recommend to me a knee brace that would give the maximum protection against a twist. Kindest regards. Sincerely Yours G24, Giorn, Bob Evans Athletic Director
