We had hoped to have a gym this year, but it has been put off
again, and we will be up against the same thing we were last
year,--no place in which to practice. However, we are hoping
for the best although we lost two of our best men including
the captain. For the first time in a long, long career of
coaching, I am experiencing what it means to have a good man
only to lose him. MIn here, of course, I could keep a player
for four, five and even six years, but out in the schools

it is something else again.

I shall be pleased to hear from you whenever you find time to
get down to a letter, but I understand perfectly that you
are pretty well tied up there so will not be disappointed if
you do not find time for an immediate reply.
