Mr. Forrest Allen ~2- Aug. 25, 1938. He stands about six feet or a little more, at the present time, and weighs about one hundred seventy pounds, tough as a boot. Now to top this off, this boy is a straight "A" student and one of good moral character. As I have said before, I have never recommended any athlete to you. This boy, in my opinion, is a potential great athlete and with the training he would receive under you and the present football staff would make him just that. This boy has offers from all the Kansas Conference Schools and from two schools outside the State. If you are ina position to give this boy a placement, I want to know what the job is and how much it will pay so that I may give him the exact picture so that he may not be disappointed upon going to the University. I would like this information at your very earliest convenience. I am sending copies of this letter to Gwyn Henry and also Ad Lindsy. With very best personal regards, I remain, Very truly yours, HAROLD M. HAUSER HMH:LP ce: Gwyn Henry Ad Lindsy
