Thanks for your letter of the 26th. I, too, will be
looking forward to our meeting in April.

I have sent you under separate cover a copy of a little
booklet one of my students and I developed last year on Objective
Tests of Individual Activities. I hope you might find it useful
in some of your courses at the University of Kansas.

What is the reaction in your conference toward the
omission of the center jump this year? Have they accepted it
as much as the west coast did a year ago? We are sensing some
real criticism in these parts around the lack of any breathing
spell anywhere in the game as a result of the omission of the
jump. Be interested to get your reaction.
