Mr. E. B. DeGroot has been under observarion of members of
the Staff of the School of Uygiene and Physical Education
during the past three or four years. During that time he has
impressed us all as being well above the average scholasti-
eally, athletically, and in general ability. He is earnest,
reliable, and exhibits a considerable degree of initiative.
We believe that he has a personality that will take him a long
way in whatever field he decides finally to enter. I hope
that he will go on in his preparation for work in the pro-
fessional field of Physical Education. This hope is shared
by my conferees here at the University.
