DeGroot, Jr., I believe he may be ably suited to the work he has chosen as a teacher and physical education instructor. My experience with Mr. DeGroot extends over a period of years, and I have no information about the young mun which is of a 7 nature. My experience with hia has been very satisfactory, pesitive in every way I knew Hr. DeGroot at the Los o~ee municipal camp as @ leader of Scouts during the summers of 927 and 1928, during which time he acted as an instructor in | a saving, horseback riding and Scout activities ani games, He did this with a great deal of credit to the camp organization. Subihe the summers of 1929 and 1950, he was employed under my supervision as a Pool Guard, and during some part of the summer, was in complete charge of a municipal pool, shere instruction is given in elementary swimming instruction, swimming coaching and life saving. Im my opinion, Mr. DeGroot is qualified to teach and coach all branches of aquaties in the High School Physical Eijucation program. We need | men of his type in this very important field. C. P.
