This morning was spent in seeing Independence Hall, the Liberty
. Bell, and other interesting historical markings. Norman Sanneman
pioked up a stone near Independence Hall, end is keeping it for a

After eating we returned te the Inn where we rested for the

We left Swarthmore about 10:00 o'clock and arrived in Washington
De Ce at approximately 2:00. o'clock. We then taxied to the F. B. Ie
building, and here we were conducted on a most interesting toure One
of the things that I liked especially was the seeing of the fingers
prints and pictures of some of our notorious bendits who have been
killede
| At 5:00 o'clock we all hed @ big meal, Howard Engleman topping
it off with his specialty, a big dish of venille creame We were then
