Dear Phog:--

i recived your letter of May 26th and
have been trying to arrange to get back for the 10th.
Matters have come up which will prevent my doing so.
Our meting at Dearborn was postponed until next Monday
the 12th. I will have to heave here Saturday arriving
there Monday morning or Sunday night. +n consquence I
will be unable to stop at Lawrence. Will you kifly tell
Irving Hill that my failure to come has saved him
considerable money.
