KANSAS STATE COLLEGE OF AGRICULTURE AND APPLIED SCIENCE MANHATTAN _ DEPARTMENT OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION AND ATHLETICS April 2, 1942 Dr. Forrest C. Allen Varsity Baseball Coach University of Kansas Lawrence, Kansas Dear Doctor Allen: Outside of the two dates, April 10th and llth, we have but two other possible dates on which we could play you at Manhattan. We could play you here on Monday and Tuesday, May 4th and Sth. We had tentative dates with Missouri on thos particular dates, but they have informed us they will be unable to come to Manhattan at that time. If you accept these dates in preference to the April dates I would suggest a couple of night games which, as I have said before, have proven very popular here at — Manhattan, and the boys really have a lot of fun. I will promise you that we will do no practicing under the lights in order to gain any advantage on your team. The weather has been very miserable I agree, but I guess it hasn't been much better here than at Lawrence. We have had to decent nights, and now that the weather has turned off warm and agreeable our Easter Vacation starts today, so our next practice will be Tuesday, April 7. I shall be glad to hear from you at your earliest convenience regarding these dates. Kind personal regards and best wishes, and I am Since yours, Frank Le Myers Baseball Coach
