My dear sir:

Your letter of the 7th is at oe Thank you
very much for the compliment, but I am not that good. -
merely play golf to recover from a condition they call
muscle-bound. injoy it very much, and it seems to be
lossening the joints.

It would be impossible for me to get away tomorrow,
ascone of the boys here in the Bank has the mumps and makes
a shorthanded. Besides Varl is going to spend the week end
with us, and we will likely work over the Katy Golf course
at Parsons tomorrow afternoon and the Gountry Club at
Chanute Sunday morning.
