Theta Pi Fraternity 1425 Tennessee Street Lawrenée, Kansas Dear Charles: I am sending you a copy of a letter that we expect to send to all students who pley golf at the University of Kansas. I would appreciate it very much if you would either post this on your house bulletin board or read it at one of your chapter meetings e The purpose of the Lawrence Country Club is to get as many students as possible in the Kansas Amateur Golf Association Tournaments The Lawrence Coutry Club's Fee, which is usually $10.00, has not been increased for the tournament, but they give the students the golfing course privilege as well as entry in this splendid championshipe As you can see, the match starts Wednesday mornings June 11, and the finals end Sunday, June 15. The qualifying day on Thursdey will permit all amateur university players an opportunity to play at least two matches, and that is a lot of fun when you are paired up against competition in an event of this nature. I will eppreciate your kindly cooperation in making this tournament in early June the finest that the State of Kansas has produced. Sincerely yours, pant Me Forrest Ce Allen, Chm.
