I received your letter of May 27th and appreciate the

I don't playsvery mean game of golf but I would like

to be in and about Lawrence on the days mentioned. How-
ever, I have been very busy commutting to and from Kansas
City on account of my son Billbeing a patient in Research
Hospital for exactly four weeks to this very day.

He was hit in the head while playing tennis in 4 near-by
town, by a youngster throwing a discus. It was just one
of those unavoidable accidents and the —" let the
discus get away from him.

The boy is réally serious yet and I drive back and forth
at least once each week so 1 really don't have any time
to devote to golf and probably won't this summer,
