I have tried to interest him in playing golf and have advised him that you would be out there on the course. Today he writes that he will not be able to caryy his clubs with him, "However," he says,"I would like to visit the Lawrence Country Club and see their arrange- ments and meet any of the oldtime friends I can." Dear Mr. Hills He will stay at the Eldridge Hotel. I am sending a copy of this letter to Fe Ce Allen, chairman of the golf tournament it is my hope thet some of you can arrange to welcome Mr. Fletcher.
