Dear Dr. Allen:

| Thank you for your letter inviting me to
participate in the golf tournament to be held in con-
junction with Commencement.

As you no doubt know, I would enjoy very
much participating in this activity. At the present
time I am not sure that I will be able to get to Lawrencs
for Commencement. If I am able to be there I am not

sure that I can be there by 9 AM, Saturday. At any rate,
I will be there if I can possibly do so. |

Il have talked with Roy Bennett but he
doesn't seem to go in for golf. I haven't located anyone
around here by the name of Sid Linscott but if I do
locate him I will give him the details about the tourna-
ment and let you know if he can be present.
