SRS aS En i we aS 3 aan Montevideo, Uruguay October 27, 1941 My distinguished Dr. Allen: Through information which I have received from the Fred Medart “anufacturing Co. we have learned of your new and original game "GOAL-HI", We who are struggling to make effective the organ- ization of the First Panamerican Congress of Physical Ed- ucation are greatly interested in learning ideas and details concerning this matter from distinguished pro- fessional men and therefore I am going to permit myself to apply to you.who are well known for your kindness, friendliness and expert authority to submit to us an article in which are expressed the importance and value the organization of a Panamerican Congress of Physical Education would have; how this program could be advanced; and the benifits that would be obtained for all these countries. This article which you send us will be pub- lished in the newspapers of Uruguay, Argentina, and Brazil. Copies will also be sent to other countries. We are con- vineed of the need of the cooperation of a person of your. prestige to help establish the interest and atmosphere necessary to carry on this great movement in physical education.
