of royalty check for the last quarter of 1940 and also ad-
vising us of your correspondence with Mr. Stith of Jefferson
City.

I have just talked to Mr. Stith via long distance and he
-gave me some very interesting information.

We appreciate your flattering remarks, particularly as con-
cerns “yours truly." Better be careful, "Phog", or you
might be forced to eat those words. On second thought, I
am afraid that I couldn't very well let you down after what
you told Stith about me.
