Dear Phog:

I am not going to say a thing about last Saturday night's
game except that sitting up there in the stands pulling for
Kansas didn't seem to help a bit.

I am enclosing royalty statement for the first quarter of
1940 together with our check in the amount of $271.84 cov-
ering amount due you for this period on the basis of our
contract.

I think it is rather significant that sales in February were
slightly larger than those in January, and your particular
attention is directed to the mounting volume of sales as rep-
resented by the difference between the February figures and
those for March. It goes without saying that I am hoping
that each month will find this increase over the previous
month represented in our quarterly report to you.
