Dear Dr. Allen:

Last year I wrote you regarding a new book which I had heard was ,
to be put out by you, and at the time you told me that it would ;
not be out until the Fall of 1937. I wonder if this book is ready, wed

and if so, where I can get one? At your convenience, will you
please let me hear from you, and while I presume that it will b
possible to get the book here in the East, I just want to
certain that it is ready; and if not, when it will be

  
    
 

Considering the fact that I was on the road practfcally all last Q Tw
Winter, we had a fairly good season at the Seminary. *

I was with the boys for only three games, two of which we won. Adal  °
One of them was a very sensational upset, a game in which we beat |
the leading high school team here in the State. It seemed a

hopeless task, but we did it very nicely in an over-time game by a

margin of 2 points. I guess it was more luck than anything since

I shifted our captain, who plays a forward position - and he is

one of the best forwards I ever looked at - to a guard position

against the big star of this other team. The latter played forward

so my captain had to shift to guard. I then shifted one of my

guards, the left guard who, as you will perhaps recall, was always

my key-man on the teams I coached, shifting him to a forward in order

to play against a high Scorn uard. I then pulled my center and

shifted him to a guard, and shifted the other guard to center.

The thing worked out perfectly. The forward on this other team

scored a fast basket right in the beginning of the game, and from

that point on was held scoreless while my own capt@in, playing a

guard position for the first time in his life, scored seven baskets

and four fouls.
