The Georgia Athletic 1938, by the merging of the Georgia Football Coaches’ Association and the Coaches’ Association was organized April 15, Georgia High School Coaches’ Association. A coaching clinic and all-star football game was conducted that summer with Coach Joel Hunt in charge of the North Georgia team and Coach W. A. Alexander coaching the Southern team.
