The Georgia Athletic
1938, by the merging of the Georgia Football Coaches’ Association and the

Coaches’ Association was organized April 15,

Georgia High School Coaches’ Association. A coaching clinic and all-star
football game was conducted that summer with Coach Joel Hunt in charge
of the North Georgia team and Coach W. A. Alexander coaching the
Southern team. The Northern team won by the score of 25-6. About 6000
