My visit with you this summer was most enjoyable to me
and also to Mrs. Bell and Patty.

I know you have noticed that we are having a tough time
winning games this fall. There are, however, some very
bright spots to my team. I have never coached a team with
a finer spirit or one that battled any harder. We just don't
have the punch in our backfield that is necessary to win in
our competition. We will be in there strong next year, how-
ever, as we lose only about six boys on the entire squad
and we do have an excellent group of freshmen.
