I do want you to kmow how much I appreciate your taking the
time to write me a letter from Fairbanks and to enclose the
fine basketball progren of the first Alaska-Canadien Army
invitational Basketball Tournament.

It just shows us how basketball has spread to all corners
of the glebe. Certainly Dr. Naismith made a wonderful contri-
bution to youth when he originated this game back in 1881.
