Dear Doc:

The officials for the Kansas U.-Kansas State
game at Manhattan are Volz and Astle. Astle was one
of the officials whom you and Frank agreed on as an
alternate for this game. However, before contacting
him we contacted the following men: Peters, Carroll,
House, Lance, Duvall and O'Sullivan, and had refusals
from each one of these men.

For the Kansas U.-Iowa State game at Ames
January 23 we have Carrol] and HasBrouck. Carroll was
one of the #1 selections. I sincerely hope that this

is satisfactory.
