Dear Joe:

Thank you for your letter of September 25th. I
have remembered the date of October llth at Mound City.

Harry Morrow, who used to be with the Blue Mound
Sun (7), is now with the Lawrence Journal-World, and he will
doubtless drive down with me. So I will not get lost, I
assure you. I will have a good pilot.

I doubt if Mrs. Allen will be able to come. How-
ever, I do thank you for your kind invitation. I will
remember your admonitions and suggestions, and will be look-
ing forward to seeing you on the llth.
