Dear Dr. Allen: This is te varify our telephone conversation relative to your appearing as eur guest speaker at the Achievement Day in Linn County. The meeting will be held at Cadmus. It is on Highway H-7, about 15 miles down from Oswatomie. We would be very glad to have Mrs. Allen come with you. We are planning to begin our dinner about 7:30 in the evening on the llth.(Oct) There will be some singing and propably some awards and your talk will be the highlight of the evening... We plan to have some g games following your talk. I would suggest that you follow this road down. Come to Princeton, which is 6 miles South of Oswatomie on Highway 59, turm te your left and you will follow the road east with a few jogs till you come to Oswatomie. At the first intersection after you cross the-railroad, coming this way, you will turn to the right. That is K=7. You will come South on K=7 till you get to Begil where you turn left. Then you will follow the concret concrete all the way down to Linn County line. Here you will hit the gravel. From Linn County line to Cadmus is 3 mbles, There is just the store on the right side of the road and the Grange Hall on the left side of the raad. That is where the meeting os te be. Itm going to let you select the Subject you want to talk about, but we hope to have a good showing of adults as well as boys and girls.
