January i7, 1945. Mrs. Laura Glidden Gray, General Delivery, Spokane, Washing ton. Dear Mrs. Gray: I am afraid that I am not in a position to give you any defin- ite information regarding the teaching situation in our University. At the present tims we have no opening. Miss Hoover and Miss Staple- ton are with us still, and the only job that generally opens up is the dance instructorship. We have had several changes there, but we have always been able to fill them without any great difficulty. I would suggest that you try the National Recreation Association because there are always good openings — but_at the University here there have been few. ij Assuring you that I will be glad to help you in every way possible, I mm Very sincerely yours, Direotor of Physical Education, PCA: AH Varsity Basketball Coach.
