The inclosed bulletin "Agricultural Resources of Kansas,"
published jointly by Kansas State College and the Kansas State
Planning Board, is the second in a series dealing with the natural
resources and raw materials available to industry in Kansas. This
bulletin, like its predecessor "Mineral Resources of Kansas Counties,"
has been prepared for the convenience of local people interested and
affected by the development of industries in their own towns and cities.

Since industrial development in Kansas is most likely to
occur as a joint enterprise of people living in cities and rural areas,
we hope that you will find this bulletin of particular interest.

Other similar bulletins dealing with resources effecting
industrial development are in the course of preparation. If you are
particularly interested, a letter to that effect will insure your
receiving them when issued.
