Dear Captain Getz:

I heve been trying to figure a way in which I sould
attend your ceremonies Saturday afternoon, and have de-
layed writing you for that reason. However, a former
member of my varsity besketball team is to be married
Saturday afternoon, and I had previously accepted an
invitation to his wedding.

I regret that it will not be possible for me to be
present at the ‘dvisory Board meeting. During the winter
months I have basketball practice every afternoon, and  -
it is generally impossible for me to attend afternoon
meetings. However, if meetings are called for the evening
I will make an effort to be present if at all possible.
