I was very much pleased to receive your letter of April 20th,
together with the battling Jayhawk,

One of our Gel, artists did a beautiful job éf enlarging
the old bird and he now decorates the B26 Marauder flown by Major J.B.
Smith of Valley Centre, Kansas. —
Just as soon as weather end time permits, I will get same
pictures and send them in to yous

I enjoyed the copy of Rebounds very much and aim glad to
know thet you have put me on the mailing list. ‘Ye have a number of
Kansans, and former Kansans in the group, ail of them enjoyed the
appearance of the Jayhawk very much. :
