I was pleased beyond measure that you won first place with the .45 and that you won the “expert” rifle medal. I am not surprised, however, because I have always observed that when you went into anything you went into it with your heart and soul. i, too, am pleased and proud that you are a Marine. There are none better than the Marines, and everybody knows it - and the Marines know it and they show it to other people with their efficiensy and I em glad that Virginia is much better.
