Shenk was obtained.

As director of the department, I engaged Shenk
during Elbelts tenure here. He was here one full year be~
fore Elbel left. We did not get him on acfount of Elbel's
leaving, but rather on aceount of the fine work that he
could render. This makes Shenk'’s third year here. Saving
played versity football here and being a graduate of our
department, we desired to use his fine talents here in the
Physical Bducation Department,

I just wanted to give you the correst data on
Henry Shenk so that the next time you write regarding him
you will be better informed.
