We have been acquainting ourselves with the new type of Basketball
Goal necessary to accommodate the revised backboard, and jin so doing
have encountered several problems which will necessitate reviewing

the Committee's Ruling on the new bank and goal.

For instance, we are interested in learning if the Rules Committee

has designated any particular thickness to be used in constructing the
bank. This would affect the method of attaching the goal.

In order to have the picture clearly before us we would like to have

all available information on these rules.
