A few weeks ago I invited Jane to be our guest on the
week end of June 30 and also over the 4th, but the writ-
er received a negative answer since she seem to be too
busy having a good time in Chicago to even think of ac-
cepting our country hospitality in Beardstown. This
did prove thet she must be having:a grand time along
with her work which, of course, indicates that she is
happy in Chicago.

Don't forget to write us when you and Mrs. Allen can
spend a few days with us this summer.
