Dear Doe:

Probably be surprised to hear from a Yankee down in
Mexican country.

Congratulations on another fine team Doe. I have been
following your games closely and also my father has pveen
sending me some clippings avout pasket ball in general. We
Yankees down Texas way are pulling for you all in your series
with Indiana University.

I think it would be a good time to spike all rumors as
to whieh is the better basket ball state.

Would have given a let to have seen your play off in
Kansas City the past week. I Know you were mighty pleased
with the boys; and rightfully you should be ror I know they
are a mighty fine buneh. Doe I only wish I could instill my
teams with that never die spirit. Kansas always plays hard,
plays fair, and plays to win, A team that plays for keeps is
a mighty tough ball elub.

Just thought I would drop you a line. Wishing you the
