SHAUM May 15, 1940 Dr, F, G, A108 Director of Physical Education Kansas University Lawrence, Kansas Dear Dr, Allen: I am writing you-in regard to making an appointment for one of our high school boys. This boy injured his knee last October in foot- ball and he has been told that the injury is in the cartilages and that he should have an opera- tion, however, the boy and I would like to have you examine it and give us your advice, It would be possible for us to come to Lawrence any time next week. Of course, due to the distance, it will be better if our appointment is not too early in the day. Mr, Kyle, coach at Tarkio College, and possiblg a boy or two from the college with injured knees may accompany us. We will appreciate it very much if you can give the boy an examination. Please advise us as to the time that would be best for you. Very friendly yours, LAL Ralph A, Ginn, Coach Tarkio High School Tarkio, Missouri RAG: MB
