Dear Doc:

You can count on my being in Kansas next year to start
work on my masters degree. Yes that would be a mighty big
break for me to get a budget allowance for basket ball. Will
appreciate anything you are able to do forme. I am tickled
pink at the opportunity to work with you again

About this job here. i was talking with Mr. Deering, the
Superintendent, and he told me that they wanted a younger man
for the job. I gave Uhrlaub a big boost and they seemed quite
impressed with his record. The only kick back was his age.
Doc. last year they paid me $ 1512. I was supposed to have
gotten } 1680 but they cut all of us. This is the same salary
I have received the past two years.

I plan on being home around the 26th. of May and I may
run up to see you. I see where you are on the staff of the
coaching school at Texas University. Sure wish I were able
to take that in.
