Dear Dr. Allen:

Thanks very kindly for your congratulatory letter. Mrs. Gardner
and James Bruce are getting along very nicely and to say that we are proud
to have a son is putting it mildly.

Naturally, I am in hopes that some day he will be a basketball
player, but I'm afraid that he will never attain the accomplishments of
Milt and Bob. 3

Will you kindly drop me a line telling me at what time the final
NC2A championship game on March 30 will start? I would appreciate this
information at an early date as I am withholding the acceptance of a banquet Jaa
pending the starting time of this game.
