Dear Mr. Allen:
Thank you for your letter of the 13th instant.

I am using the boy, taping his knee as the picture in your Basket~
ball Bible shows with the additional elastic bandage over the taping.

As we start playing in our Regional Tournament on the 2nd of March,
it will be impossible for me to bring the boy to Columbia. However, if
his knee should go bad under my care, I should like to bring him out to
Lawrence after the current Basketball Season is over.

Enclosed you will find a money order for $4 in payment for a copy
of your book "Better Basketball". I am particularly interested in your
treatise on Athletic Injuries and the Stratified Transitional Man for
Man Defense with the Zone Principle.
