‘Dear Sirs

You will no doubt recall that I wrote you
sometime ago in regard to the effect that junior
colleges had on inter-collegiate competition.
Your letter answered my questions quite fully.

My friend, John Halberg, and I plan to attend
Junior College in Kansas City, Missouri next fall
and to come to K. U. our sophomore year. Halberg
is 6! 7" tall and I think with a good coach, such
as you, he will develop into quite a player. John
and I would like to discuss our courses and college
in general with you before we enroll this fall.

Our only opportunity to talk with you is on
Sundays. Would it be possible for you to see us
on July 351? If so, please write me so that we
may make arrangements. If that date is unsatis-
factory, please set a date sometime in the near
future that would be convenient for you.
