My dear Phog:

Your September 22nd letter was duly received
and I certainly want to express at this late date my appre-
ciation for the services rendered.

I also received letter from B. L. Falkenstien,
bvecretary, Physical Education Corporation, and the tickets
requested, but since I had fully expected to be in Lawrence
long before thiscat which time I could hand over the 50¢
additional due in person, I have neglected to send check
to cover this additional amount so if you will just tell
Mr. Falkenstien the next time you see him that some of these
bright days I hope to be in Lawrence and at such time will
give him the 50¢ due him, I will appreciate this additional
favor.

Some day we will try to get to Lawrence in time
so that we can have a visit and as you stated in your letter
under. reply, get the entire families acquainted. In the
meantime, I! remain
