We have a film from the Teaching Films Division in

our Visual Instruction Department, entitled Basketball Funda-
mentalse We use this film for our Varsity all the time and
also for our freshmen playerse

The Basketball Fundamentals film may be rented from
our Bureau of Visual Instruction, University of Kansas, Lawrence,
Kansase The rental fee is $2.00 plus transportation. If you
will kindly write these people they will be glad to send you the
film. I have just talked with Mr. Fred S. Montgomery, Secretary
@ the Bureau of Visual Instruction, and he tells me the film
will not be available until about the 23rd or 28th of Januarye

I show this to my class and I think it is a wonderful film
for teaching funedmentalse

The Extension Division of the University of Kansas has
a two-reel film which is called "Fundamentals in Basketball", which
was made by the Eastman Kodak Company of Rochester, New Yorke
It is a part of their teaching class film project and the pictures
are excellent, I think, for teaching fundamentalse We use it
constantly here at the Universitye The Fastman people came here
and shot the victurese

Mre WeHe Maddock is the man in charge. They sell the
two reels for $48.00, but our Extension Division and other extension
divisions, like Wisconsin, rent theme The fee for rental from our
Extension Division is $3.00 plus transportation, Perhaps you would
rather rent the films than purchase them, but we have two sets here
and use them constantlye It is a great thing for teaching fundamentals.
I imagine you could use your own projectors
