March 25, 1942. Hr. Joseph A. Kurtz, 909 W. Arch St., Shamokin, Pennsylvania. Dear ‘Yr. Kurts : Thank you for your kind letter of March 22nd. : The Eastman Kodak Company, of Rochester, New York, made a two-reel film which is called "Funda- mentals in Basketball”. This is a part of their teaching class film project, and the pictures are excellent for teaching fundamentals. The Eastman people came here and shot pictures of the Kansas team, under my direction, demonstrating basketball fundamentals. Irs We Hy, Maddock, of the Eastman Kodak Company, is the man in charge, and if you will write to him I em sure you would be able to get this film. I be- lieve they sell the two reels for about 948.00, but a number of university extension divisions have the film for rent. If I can help you further, it will be a pleasure to hear from yous Very sincerely yours, | Director of Physical Education and Recreation, PCA: AH Varsity Basketball and Baseball Coach.
