Dear Mrs. French:

I am very happy to have your letter of recent date.
Our hours are from 8 until 12, and 1:30 to 5 on week
days, and from 8 until 12 on Saturdays. You can see
that you will have an hour and a half for lunch.

The salary is paid monthly. It is perfectly all
right to wear the type of sock you please.

I am happy that you and Bud will have a place at

1201 Tennessee, and I am indeed happy that Bud has

arrived in the States. I am hoping that he will be
able to come with you to Lawrence on December 2nd.
