Dear Dr. Allen:

As I have said before, I have had only six months
of shorthand in night school at Sarachon Hooley Secretarial
School. For two years I have been taking dictation from Mr.
Jerome Bartlett here at Harris, Upham & Co. During vacation
time and when the other stenographers are very busy, I take
dietation from some of the other customer's men.

Mr. Herson is home ill at the present time, but
when he returns to work, which should be in the next day
or two, I will ask him to write you a letter in regard to
my ability to take dictation. :

I am sorry about the misunderstanding with Mr.
Faulkenstein and hope that I didn't cause you too much
inconvenience.
