Prallee and Corlis did not get in the war nor Golay or Sclmidt. Bruse Voran has just returned to Pretty Prairie to be in the bank with his father. He was by here after coming home. le was injured in a jeep accident in Italy but came out 0.f. Kline came through here and ‘ stopped to say hello with his wife and new baby. He will be in the insurance business with his father in Hutchinson. Johnny married a New Yrleans girl, I believe. Ralph Miller is still in the service as is Jack Sands and “bling. . Bmgleman is in the Navy hospital in Norman recovering ' nicely from a suicide bomer off Okinawa. Lester Kappleman is here in school with severed nerves in his arm from a Jap sniper in the Vasges mountains, but he is coming along fine and will eventually regain the use of his arm and hand. Francis is overseas having gone West after the war. fexas Christian beat Kansas University 8-0. ‘Then Kansas tied lowa State in a surprise 13-15 game. ‘They beat Washburn last Friday night 34-0. They are to play the tough Oklahoma team at Norman this Saturday.
