THE ARMY NEEDS YOUR HELP

At this time there are just twelve industries in the country
classified as "critical" by the Ue. Se Armye

High on this list is the ammunition industry.

In the last few months, umprecedented bombing and use of heavy
artillery have created a grave shortage of heavy artillery shells,
bombs and rocketse

To turn out the heavy ammunition needed, the 55 government~
owned, contractor-operated ordnance plants in the nation must -
enroll 50,000 additional workers by January lst.

The Army is planning a special laborerecruiting drive for this
plant in your city. The climax of the drive will be the arrival
in town of the Firepower Caravan, a fascinating and unusual Ue Se
Army show,

Whether the Firepower Caravan draws a large audience, whether
the recruiting drive is a success, will depend almost entirely
upon how well you, as members of the local Firepower Caravan Con»
mittee, do your jobe ©
