The officers of the Chapter shall be a Chairman, a Vice Chairman, a Secretary, a Treasurer and such other officers with such powers and duties not inconsistent with these By-Laws as from time to time may be appointed by the Executive Comaittee, < section 2. hlection. The officers shall be elected annually by the Lxecutive Committee of the Chapter at its first meeting after the annual meeting of the members for the term of one (1) year and Shall serve for such term and until the election and qualification of their respective successors, iach year within ten (10) days after their election, the Secretary shall notify the National Foundat— lon of the names and addresses of the officers so elected, Section 3. Vacancies. If any office of the Chapter becomes vacant, the hxecutive Committee shall elect an officer to fill such vacancy, and the officer so elected shall serve until the next annual meeting of the Executive Committee and until the election and qualification of his successor. Within ten (10) days thereafter the Secretary shall notify the National Foundation of the name and address of the officer so elected. " Section 4, The Chairman. The Chairman shall preside at all meetings of members of the Chapter and of the Executive Committee. He may, with the Treasurer, sign and execute all authorized contracts, notes or other obligations in the name and on behalf of the Chapter. He shall have general charge and supervision of the affairs of the Chapter, and shall perform such other duties as may be assigned to him from time to time by the Executive Committee. Section 5. The Vice Chairman. At the request of the Chairman, or in the event of his absence or disability, the Vice Chairman at _ any time, and from time to time, may perform any and all of the | duties of the Chairman and shall have such other powers and perform such other duties as the Executive Committee may from time to time assign to him. Section 6. The Secretary. The Secretary shall attend and keep the minutes of all meetings of the Executive Committee ‘and members of _ the Chapter. He shall attend to the giving and serving of all notices of the Chapter. He shall have Charge of such books, documents and _ papers as the Executive Committee may determine, He shall in general perform all the duties incident to the office of Secretary, subject to the control of the Executive Committee, and such other duties as may be assigned to him from time to time by the Executive Committee, |
