Article IX
Audit
The accounts of the Chapter and all its branch chapters shall be
audited each Year as of May 31st, vy an independent public accoutitant
who is not an officer or employee of the Chapter or any branch chapter
and the signed certificate of said accountant must appear on the dupli-

cate original of the Annual Report to be sent’ to the National Foundetion
pursuant to the provisions of Section 9 of Article V hereof.

Article X
Liability |
The National Foundation shall not be liable for any act or any
féilure to act of the members of the Chapter, its Executive Committee,
officers, agents, servants or employees, nor for any obligation assumed
or incurred by the Chapter.

These By-Laws may be altered, amended or repealed at any meeting
of the members of the Chapter by a majority vote of all the members
in person, provided that the proposed action be inserted in the notice
of such meeting, and provided further chat no such alteration, amend-
ment or repeal shall be valid until approved in writing by the Nation-
al Foundition.
