This is one of the most heartening things that has come to our nation in a long time. We certainly will do some business _now with those slit-eyes! I trust that Jayhawk Rebound No. 17 reaches you shortly. I have had difficulty with my No. 18 Rebound, but I'l] let the Rebound | tell you about that if and when you get it, which I hope will be soon. | I saw Dr. Latimer on the street the other day and he brought up the matter of receiving a very fine letter from you. last week I also visited with Dr. Dean Brooks who lives just across the street from us here at Lawrence. He is looking wonderfully well and is much matured. He is a fine chap and we were delighted to have a visit with hin. I am glad that they haven't thrown too much hate over on you and I am equally happy that none of the suicide boys have dropped in on your deck. With every good wish to you, I am .
