I am writing you in confidence regarding the
deanship of women at your college. Someone wanted to know
if that job was open. Do not misunderstand me, because we
love Mrs. Houts for her wonderful qualities of womanhood,
but I was wondering if she is to be retired or has been re-
tired.

Someone was interested in the job and I told then
the only way I could find out was to write somebody who could
tell me. Will you write me in confidence and let me know?

Oklehoma, boys are getting on my nerves and they will be on
